Club Membership and Policy Documents - including Safeguarding

Nailsworth Mills Bowls Club members take all aspects of health, safeguarding, equality, inclusion and protection very seriously.

This page contains a number of downloadable policy files covering all aspects of the above, including the Government General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

​In addition to the policies described, NMBC will continue to follow all regulations concerning Corona Virus to ensure the safety of all members and visitors to the club. When attending the green look out for and such signs and notices and please adhere to the guidance given.

Members are expected to sign copies of the Code of Conduct and GDPR policies. Please contact the Club Secretary, Brian Foster for each form.

​GDPR Policy

This policy concerns the personal information (data) held by the Club, its security and use. The policy is written in response to the GDPR, in force from 25 May 2018.

Health & Safety Policy

This Health and Safety Policy Document has been prepared in accordance to meet the provisions of the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 and the regulations made under it.

Equity & Inclusion Policy

NMBC recognises its legal obligation under the Equality Act 2010. It has a desire and a duty to provide sporting facilities/services fairly, without discrimination, and is fully committed to the principles of equality of access and opportunity.

Code of Conduct

This document highlights the belief that all members, coaches, administrators and parents associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

Please view this document in order to understand the data required to become NMBC Members (GDPR compliant). An annual fee is also applicable. To apply for membership please contact the club secretary Brian Foster.
Safeguarding Adults at Risk Policy
The purpose of this policy is to outline the duty and responsibility of staff/volunteers working on behalf of the Nailsworth Mills Bowling Club in relation to Safeguarding Adults at risk.

​Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy
Nailsworth Mills Bowling Club acknowledges its duty of care to safeguard the welfare of all young people (defined as those under 18) involved in bowls within the club. All young people have a right to protection, and have their particular needs taken into account.
