Finally the rain stopped long enough for us to proceed with our first ever inter-company Bowls Bash Challenge at Nailsworth Mills Estate.
With 20 pairs registered, two heats were needed to find our two finalists - The Ebley Enforcers versus The Morrisons Mashers!
All down to the final end, the ladies of The Morrisons Mashers were victories and claimed the first every Chamberlain Shield, donated here by Jasper Chamberlain himself.
The feedback from everyone about how much fun the whole event was has been excellent and the club management team would like to thank all those members who helped to make it happen.
Mostly we would like to thank both Jasper and Tim for their enthusiasm for putting on the event in the first place. We will be planning next year's very soon so look out for the date and get it in the diary for 2024.
